Aunt Cathy’s (Cedar Rapids) Creamed Corn

Yield: 
About 5 quarts

Ingredients

28-30 ears of Mirai sweet corn cut off the cob (20 cups)
1 pint half & half
1 lb butter
1/3 cup sugar
Directions: 

Mix all of above in large roaster pan. Roast at 235 degrees for one hour.
Stir often. Cool pan in ice water. Pack corn in freezer zip-lock bags and put in freezer.
