Fun Family Activity: Plant your own sweet corn!

If you have a plot in your backyard with full sunlight most of the day, try growing your own crop of Mirai sweet corn. We have seeds at our Online Store. Your kids can help plant the seed and water the garden, and each week they'll see changes as the seedlings emerge from the ground, eventually reaching 7 to 10 feet in height and forming ears. Make a special day out of harvesting and cooking the corn. When they eat the Mirai, they'll enjoy it all the more because they helped grow, harvest and prepare it.
